The freedom of thought and speech allows us to think and speak freely without fear. 3. Democracy empowers us to vote for the leader of our town and country without being forced to accept whoever is more powerful. It's about our choice, our voice. 4. The freedom to reject a pregnancy resulting from rape or incest, giving the right to choose whether or not to recognize or reject the father, regardless of the rapist's race, financial or political status. 5. Democracy is about inclusivity. It's about the freedom to love and enjoy life with someone you love, regardless of gender, ethnicity, financial, or political standing. Everyone is welcome in a democratic society. 6. The freedom to oversee what your government is doing and to correct any unwelcome activities. 7. In a democracy, you can own your private business without the government forcing you to decide which type of business you can have or run. 8. In a democracy, every woman, be it a mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin, niece, or granddaughter, has the right to choose what is best for her and her body.
