I'm probably the last person you'll listen to because I'm not a celebrity or well-known figure in any industry. However, I feel extraordinarily fortunate to be living the American dream after surviving the 1975–1990 Lebanese Civil War.

I'm probably the last person you'll listen to because I'm not a celebrity or well-known figure in any industry. However, I feel extraordinarily fortunate to be living the American dream after surviving the 1975–1990 Lebanese Civil War. I feel compelled to convey my point of view because political rhetoric motivated by personal objectives is shortsighted and could have serious effects. Having experienced a similar situation, I am deeply concerned and believe we must act now, united, by prioritizing negotiation and national defense over personal interests to prevent a catastrophic civil conflict. The potential for a positive outcome, if we act now, is immense. Otherwise, we risk causing long-lasting damage to our nation, with children growing up amidst violence, our infrastructure deteriorating, and our currency losing its value. Additionally, other countries could lose faith in our leadership, making recovery incredibly challenging. It is of utmost importance to avoid this bleak future. In Lebanon, every conflicting faction believed they had the upper hand due to support from other countries. However, they later realized this support was based on false hope, as each country had its agenda. Unfortunately, by the time they realized this, the situation had already reached the point of no return. It's crucial not to let history repeat itself. Let's not jeopardize the beauty of this country – we genuinely don't realize what we have until it's gone.
