What makes autocracy particularly concerning is the lack of accountability. In a healthy governance system, the ruler, or a small group of individuals, should be answerable to the people, ensuring that decisions are made in the best interest of the society. It's important to note that democracy and autocracy are at opposite ends of the spectrum.
